Q. Are there any jobs available at the Hartman Arena? Are you hiring?  Where can I send my resume?
A. No, there are no staff positions open at the Hartman Arena.  If you would still like to send your resume to be kept on file for the future, send it to hkindall@hartmanarena.com.

Q. Are cameras or video equipment allowed at the shows?
A. Every show is different, so check event details in the online schedule. Most shows allow point and shoot cameras, but no video or audio equipment.


Q. Where can I buy tickets?
A. Hartman Arena  provides ticketing services on-line at www.stage1tickets.com; local outlets including Sports Time Fan Shop East and West, and Checker's South (regular business hours); by calling 316-927-3999; or at the Hartman Arena box office (10 a.m. - 4 p.m. M-F). Be careful! NEVER buy tickets from scalpers. Only buy tickets from authorized Hartman Arena outlets.


Q. What time do the doors open before an event?
A. Usually one hour before the event except for general admission events. General admission events often open an hour and a half before. It’s always a good idea to arrive early!


Q. Can I smoke at Hartman Arena?
A. No. Hartman Arena is a no smoking building. Smoking areas are located outside each building. Fire Marshalls and trained staff monitor and control smoking at all events.


Q. Does Hartman Arena serve alcoholic beverages?
A. You may enjoy a wide variety of beer as well as mixed drinks, margaritas and strawberry daiquiris at many events. We take special care to ensure that each visitor enjoys a safe visit by carefully checking identification and closely monitoring consumption. We encourage each adult to drink responsibly and drive safely. Trained staff located throughout the facility watch for “pass offs” to minors. Providing alcoholic beverages to a minor is a violation of the law. Any person giving alcohol to minors will be ejected from the facility and will face prosecution to the fullest extent of the law.


Q. What kind of food is available at events?
A. Hartman Arena serves a wide variety of concession fare from your expected options (hot dogs, pretzels, nachos), to some more up-scale options.


Q. How many people work at a typical event?
A. Each event requires its own number of stage hands, concession workers, ushers, door guards, etc.


Q. How many people will Hartman Arena hold?
A. It depends on the type of event. Football Games hold up to 5,000 people while we can do as many as 6,700 for a concert setup.


Q. Do I get better seats if I buy them at the Hartman Arena box office?
A. No. StageOne Tickets is a state-of-the-art computerized ticketing service. All of the outlets have the same inventory of tickets to choose from. The computer chooses the next best seat based on how the arena is set up for the event. In most cases, the earlier you purchase your tickets, the better the seats you will receive.


Q. Is Hartman Arena ADA accessible?
A. Absolutely. ADA parking is located at the front of the building. You MUST have an ADA sticker to park in these reserved spots and arrive early to secure your location. The entrance is at concourse level of the arena as are ADA seats, and there is an elevator in the northeast corner of the floor.
